Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinicians

Guided Self-Management Toolkits were developed to teach children, adolescents, and their families evidence-based skills to effectively manage early, mild anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavior problems. The self-explanatory toolkits can be provided to patients and their families to learn and practice on their own, or they can be provided as adjunctive “homework” during a course of psychotherapy.  The toolkits can be accompanied by “Understanding…” handouts for patients and families that describe in everyday language the cause, diagnosis, and treatment of the target disorders, along with lifestyle and parenting tips that can be helpful in managing the symptoms.  A detailed manual and training video provides guidance to BHCs about effectively using the toolkits.
